Hon. Justice Crabbe

Hon. Justice Crabbe is a leading authority on legislative drafting. He is course advisor and trainer for the Legislative Drafting programme at ILI-ACLE. He is currently Commissioner of Statute Law Revision for the Ministry of Justice in Accra, Ghana. He is a former justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana and was professor of legislative drafting at the University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. He has advised and worked in numerous countries on the African continent and was director of the Commonwealth Secretariat Scheme for Legislative Draftsmen for the west, east, southern and central African, and Caribbean regions. In addition to numerous articles, he has authored three often-quoted books on legislative drafting.

Michele S. Riley

Michele S. Riley is a commercial mediator and arbitrator who mediates and arbitrates a wide range of business disputes for the American Arbitration Association and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution as well as litigated cases for the NYS Supreme Court and the Federal district courts in New York. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).  She teaches courses on negotiation and mediation at the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution and in the Master’s Degree Program in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia University. She teaches the ILI-ACLE International Commercial Arbitration programme in Lesotho for the Attorney General’s Chambers in Botswana.
