25 May ILI-ACLE Conducts DFC Training Programme on HRBA
As part of its continuing collaboration with the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC), ILI-ACLE recently hosted 13 participants from Ghana, Kenya, Nepal, and Rwanda for a two-week residential training programme on Democratisation and the Human Rights-Based Approach to Development. Through a series of lectures, case studies, site visits, group discussions, presentations and action planning, this practical course that run from May 9 -20, 2016 examined the relationship between democracy, human rights and development.
This training is the second this year under the DFC Programme, following one on Public Sector Leadership held in January 2016 in collaboration with the Danish firm, Ramboll Management Consulting, and attended by 12 participants from Ghana, Kenya, Lebanon, Mozambique, Nepal and Tanzania.
A third programme, Promoting Government Integrity and Anti-Corruption, is scheduled to be held in Kampala from July 25 – August 5, 2016.
